A wood shop near the ocean
Bedinge Snickeri is located in Beddingestrand, south Sweden (between Trelleborg and Ystad), very close to the sea. The business started in 2017/18 but has previously been under a different name and building nearby.
What makes Bedinge Snickeri special is that it is a creative wood shop. A self-designed collection of chairs and the Öggwald rocker is proof of creativity beyond the ordinary. The portfolio also includes the flexible Morvis wall shelf and a custom built-in kitchen design.
Bedinge Snickeri is managed by me, Örjan Åberg, with many years of professional experience in furniture and wood working. I have run my own woodshop since the early 90s and collaborated with a number of talented architects.
In addition to wood working, I have several years of experience in photography and graphic design. Something I find very useful when shaping my ideas.
It can also be mentioned that I started as a guitar builder and it sometimes happens that I bring in a guitar that needs to be adjusted. A sense of accuracy and precision was founded in the guitar workshop. The interest in music is big part of my life and there is a guitar in the office always ready for a little song.
